Indian nationalism has always been an intensely exclusionary project as it was built in the mould of Hindutva from its very beginning. As a result, Indian nationalism only creates space for a very narrow segment of the population while violently policing excluded groups to varying degrees from assimilation to genocide. We will speak to Kanupriya about the evolving face of Indian nationalism and its violence against women, Dalits, Muslims, farmers, students, Sikhs, and other communities while also engaging with their ongoing resistances to fascism.
