Caste, Land, and Liberation

As thousands camp on the borders of Delhi demanding that the state repeal the recent farmers bills, one slogan we consistently hear from the frontlines is “Kisaan-Mazdoor Ekta Zindabad.” While much of the coverage of the Delhi Morcha obscures the violence of caste and its central role in the structure of the Indian state and society, this session will discuss the responsibility of the mobilization to meaningfully move towards the abolition of caste and liberation for all.
